The Open Lab provides an open laboratory environment for the development, testing and integration of Open RAN-based network components for manufacturers and operators. Open standards are to be tested and further developed. Different technical components from IT, TC, radio technology, measurement systems and end devices are combined, and new procedures for validation and performance measurement are developed, which are also supported by new technical developments.
The aim is to reach as wide a range as possible of companies from different sectors as well as public bodies and institutions in order to be able to test the i14y Lab in the context of as many and as varied application and business scenarios as possible.
