Focus of the O-RAN Global PlugFest Fall 2025 at the i14y Lab
The tests are designed to showcase cooperative, multi-vendor solutions by demonstrating jointly selected applications and building a variety of test scenarios using integrated equipment and services.
For this edition, we will focus on issues as
- Comparable and Reproducible Testing - This scenario will be tested in cooperation with SONIC Labs / Digital Catapult.
- Energy-Saving through xApps on RIC
- Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
PlugFest activities are planned until Nov 28.
The main PlugFest including testing in i14y Lab happens between November 03 – November 14, followed by reporting between November 17 – November 28.
The PlugFest will then conclude with demonstration of results and publication between Dezember 01 – Dezember 05, 2025, done in coordination with the O-RAN Alliance.
The i14y Lab continues to provide a collaborative, vendor-neutral testing environment in coordination with key industry stakeholders.
