What is O-CU-CP?

O-CU-CP stands for Operations and Control Unit Control Plane it is a logical RAN node in a 5G network that provides centralized control and management of network operations. It is responsible for communication between the Operations and Control Unit (O-CU) and other elements of the 5G network. The O-CU-CP performs functions such as network configuration, monitoring, and management to improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of the network.
