E2E Open RAN Setup
The E2E Open RAN setup that we demoed at the O-RAN Alliance’s MWC 2025 virtual exhibition is designed to make Open RAN testing more accessible, efficient, and scalable.
We have created the setup to enable easier and more reliable testing for Open RAN components in a Lab as a Service (LaaS) approach.

The setup is built around the srsRAN Enterprise 5G, a fully virtualized and containerized O-RAN-native CU/DU solution that can be targeted to both on-premise servers and a cloud infrastructure. In our setup, it is integrated into a vanilla Kubernetes environment and running the srsRAN Enterprise 5G O-CU/O-DU.
As radios, we use the VVDN indoor O-RUs. The setup is completed by
- the Amarisoft UE Emulator, allowing us to simulate real-world network scenarios by emulating high volumes of User Equipment (UEs)
- an application server connected to the Spirent Landslide 5G core
Finally, our Grafana dashboard provides a complete overview of network activity.

The demo was previously shown at MWC 2025 at the O-RAN Alliance Virtual Exhibition 2025
